I love a Meghan Quinn book. This one had a marriage of convenience, kind of enemies to lovers and I enjoyed that. This also was such a slow burn and I was fully waiting for these characters to do something about their feelings. Both Aubree and Wyatt had their fair share of trauma and emotional baggage. I just wish they would have opened up to each other sooner. The pacing was a bit off for me and when they separated at the end, it felt rushed and unnecessary. They could have just had a conversation either sooner or at that moment and it would have been fine. The spice was great, but again it took a while to get there. I appreciated Aubree's tenacity and how strong she was though. Wyatt was funny and a charmer and I loved him instantly. This was cute and I loved being back in Almond Bay! Thank you to Meghan Quinn for providing me with an e-ARC to read and review!
