I was surprised by how much I enjoyed this. It was exactly the right book for driving around the holidays, flying home and cleaning the house. It kept me engaged and entertained while not over taxing my very hectic/tired brain space. Not sure if it will stay with me and the feminism themes were on the nose and not particularly cathartic for me but I adored the cooking show and the found family dynamics of this book.
