Omg sweet bb angel Lance is everything to me. This was so different from the other books in the series and I loved it so much. While all the other characters definitely had rough moments from their past, Lance was dealing with straight up trauma. This book had me so emotional and I just wanted to help him heal. Him and Poppy were a perfect pairing. They were just so good for each other. I can't even get over the sweetness and swooniness I felt from reading this book and I would take so many more Lance and Poppy moments. I thought Hunting handled these topics really gracefully and thoughtfully and I couldn't put this one down. They really are a top tier couple and I have nothing but good things to say about this installment in the series.
