This was very insta-lust/lovey, the FMC Dylan & MMC Logan fell in love in a matter of days after meeting and going on one date it left no time for me to connect with their characters individually let alone them as a couple. It was an easy read, no angst or drama, the side characters were good and the dynamics between the siblings felt realistic, the humour at times felt forced at times and instead of finding Dylans obsession with chillies quirky or endearing it came across staged and a bit "look at me, I'm not like other girls" to me.

Add in the fact that we are meant to believe she is this small town nobody in the face of Logans NFL fame when she comes from what sounds like a football playing dynasty is just ridiculous. You're telling me her dad was a former NFL star and ALL of her brothers either have been or are currently NFL stars and she is unknown to the wider world and just runs a small town bar and is branded a gold digger by the press when their relationship is revealed? It was one of the most unrealistic things I've read in a book for quite some time tbh and I read alien & monster smut. Other than that, it was a quick and entertaining read with some good spice mixed in. 🌶🌶
