3.5! I really liked this and would’ve rated it much higher if the structure was more linear. The constant shifting of timelines was tedious and confusing at times. I did however really enjoy the prose. Ultimately, this is a creative retelling with feminist undertones. This would be an excellent book for the Fall! Might do a second read in the Fall/Winter.
