I recommend you first read the book before this "The Amish Midwife", so you can understand the VERY intricate plot and family trees. Both books are a kind of hard to get into, but they're definitely worth the little extra work. Wonderful plot, with amazing well-crafted twists-and-turns that kept me up more than one or two nights!
