The Captive Dwarf: A Short-Statured Story of Madness and Mayhem! by Sean Hawker
5.0
What is this shit that I just read? You have a human nugget (don't ask just read), a dwarf who is tricked and forced into playing an interesting role, a man named Les who shoots blanks and can't get his wife pregnant, and finally his wife, Marjorie, who craves being a mother so badly that her husband will do some sick shit to make her dream come true.
I was appalled at how fast this novelette went from zero to sixty. Appalled in a good way, but appalled nonetheless. I read this in about an hour or so because I couldn't put it down.
No really, wtf LOL.
For a piece of writing that is so short (haha maybe pun intended?)— it does pack a punch. Gary is absolutely ruthless. I chuckled a few times at just how bold this little person was. Clearly, size doesn't matter ;)
I feel bad saying I liked this (I don't actually feel bad) and I think that Sean Hawker should write a part two. I need more than 52 pages. I also need to know what happens to Spencer.
Can I just mention my favorite quote from the book? "Scrub those sweet cherry tomato balls as well.." (don't ask) I laughed out loud because it was so vulgar and descriptive.
I think you should read this if you like extreme horror and can tolerate some gross stuff and triggers. It's a light read with a lot of shit in it. Grossly delightful.
