This is the second volume in the Weathering with You trilogy. I picked up these books at the library on a whim, and later found out there’s a movie. (I’m reading all of the manga before seeing the movie.)

Picking up from volume 1, you could tell that the storyline was going to get much more complicated and dark. This volume does not disappoint in that regard. Without spoiling anything, I found myself gasping a few times during this volume. Great progression of the plot. I’m looking forward to wrapping everything up in the next volume.
