I'm Glad My Mom Died by Jennette McCurdy

Holy smokes. For such a quick, little book, this one really packs a punch! I listened to this in just two days and truly couldn't put it down. I almost didn't read it because I was afraid that Jennette McCurdy wouldn't resonate with me since I'm a bit too old to have followed her career and am not a part of her fan base (or wasn't anyway), but it ended up not mattering at all. Jennette McCurdy goes all out in this and still maintains a phenomenal level of grace through the whole book. I loved how she narrated it, and I loved the use of present tense to really bring her childhood feelings to the forefront of every single story. I just loved this book. I have so much respect for her.
