This was like a genderswapped Nigerian Harry Potter and I quite enjoyed it. I wish Nnedis work was around when I was growing up awkward and akata. I do lament that the conflict started 80% through the book and felt rushed and underdeveloped but I'll read the rest of the series to see where it goes!
