Blood on the Tracks, Vol. 2 by Shuzo Oshimi
5.0
Blood on the Tracks Vol. 2— WOW, okay.
All I can say is that this manga is a reminder that psychological abuse is real and that Seiko is a bonafide groomer. The weight of this story is heavy.
And Vol. 2 resonates silence.
Oshimi brilliantly conveys such intense, dark emotions with almost no commentary. Much of the communication in the manga continues to be through facial expression, body language— and I mean it’s truly all in the eyes. It’s always in the eyes. Hats off to this mangaka once again for his incredible panels. It truly takes talent to portray these emotions without words.
This is some deeply disturbed and perturbed shit.
I’m eager to start the next volume. Blood on the Tracks just draws you in effortlessly. This series will probably be earning continuous ★★★★★ star ratings from me at this pace and with this depth.
