Ooof as someone who has a difficult relationship with a parent and is hypercritical of herself, this one got me good. I really enjoyed the first book, but wow did I love this one. 

I thought the pacing was great, not too long and had sensible passages of time. I felt that all the conflicts that arose made sense and didn’t seem over the top or like they were just for dramatic effect. 

The pack development was really well done, with both the individual relationships as well as group relationship.

I’m also glad this book spent time with Pack Hodges throughout 🥹 while technically these can each be read as a standalone, I highly recommend reading in order.
