I've loved anything I've read by Rebecca Ross so far and this one was so amazing! I loved Iris and Roman and how their stories developed. I thought this was a unique story and I loved the mix of fantasy, historical aspects, and romance. It was also beautifully done enemies to lovers. The mystery of the letter sender on Iris's end pulled me in and I couldn't wait for her to figure out the truth.  I thought the myth was also really interesting and creative and I wasn't expecting the book to be so dark at point,  but it was done quite well. I also wanted to scream at the end because we were left on a cliffhanger, and I am not okay!! As a journalist myself, I loved that the was the occupation of both main characters because I thought the typewriters and that background was super cool. I can't say enough good things about this book and I definitely cannot wait for the sequel!
