If the rating was based on how much I enjoyed it, that would be 1.5. It was so deeply uncomfortable and horrible, but so well written. It’s definitely not something I would read again. I also hate how often I’ve seen the relationship in this book described as toxic; it shouldn’t be referred to as anything except abusive.
