Adult Children of Emotionally Immature Parents: how to heal from distant, rejecting, or self-Involved-parents by Lindsay C. Gibson

can be informative and useful, definitely validating but unfortunately reductive (and a bit binary with its categorizations at times). interesting insights on family dynamics but there’s not much on healing, as the title suggests. most of the book was focused on defining concepts, anecdotes, and exercises (which were fun). could’ve been 100 pages shorter, unnecessarily redundant at times
