Tangleweed and Brine by Deirdre Sullivan

This collection of short fairy tale retellings is to die for. to absolutely die for. I went through every single emotion in this book. I got shivers. I got goosebumps. I even cried.
some stories were better than others, obviously, I think that's just the way of short story collections. But as a whole, I wish this book had never ended. Each story flowed so well into the next and they all held the same kind of vibe and none of them ever felt out of place.
These stories teeter on the edge of being kind of dark, and they felt a bit gothic to me, which was right up my alley.
I will absolutely, without a doubt, revisit this collection again.
