Northanger Abbey by Jane Austen

4.0

I didn’t remember much of this book since reading it as a teenager — proved quite a pleasant reread. It is a very different style than Austen’s main works, perhaps more of a YA novel or Austen Lite for the time period — and really showcases Austen’s comedic satire abilities. Fun, a bit of adventure and mystery as well, and of course, romance. Mr. Tilney is one of my favourite Austen romantic interests who the reader has reason to love from the moment he enters the page.
