I Kissed Shara Wheeler by Casey McQuiston
5.0
Alright, so I’m going to say it: I’m obsessed with this book. I should’ve known I’d fall instantly in love with a Casey McQuiston story. This is the queer “Paper Towns” I wish I could have had when I was a teenager. What an incredible, complex labor of love this novel is—filled to the brim with teen doubt and hopefulness. To say it was beautiful sounds too reductive, but really it was. This is an extremely *important* story that will make readers feel seen in ways that everyone needs and deserves. Thank you for Shara Wheeler, Chloe Green, Rory Heron, and Smith Parker and their small town.
