This is my son's current favourite book. We got it out of the library last week and I've already read it five times this morning!

It's a lovely rhyming story about a boy and his dinosaur. The boy takes his dinosaur to school and the book follows a typical day of a young child. They eat breakfast, paint, sing songs, have a bath. Sometimes things get a bit messy but no-one minds! A very relatable story and the illustrations are wonderful.

We used to hold a Mother's Day Assembly with our Reception and KS1 children for all the mums and the children learnt and read aloud 'I love my mummy' which they loved! Such a fab series!
