Overall the story was fine. One of the books strengths was how it addresses various struggles and questions of LGBTQ+ teens. That was done very beautifully.
I just found a lot of the plot to be unbelievable and a stretch at times. It also felt both like a narrow story, focusing on only a handful of characters, but became very broad, introducing a lot of random moments that just didn’t add to the overall story for me. I preferred when it was more narrow.
