Eh. I found this book to be ok. I didn’t really see the point in this book. I didn’t feel that it strengthened the plot in anyway, it seemed to be a filler.

This entire book was essentially a side story made to show off Brett’s ability to hide in plain sight. I found this to be really problematic. I just don’t understand realistically, how they didn’t recognize Brett. There are only so many ways that he could’ve changed his looks without using prosthetics.
Plus, overall, Brett kidnapping Chelsea was pointless. It had nothing to do with the overall plot. The first book felt like Sara Shepard was going to write Brett to kidnap Aerin for refusing him, not some random Instagram celeb.
I just didn’t think this book was necessary in this series.
