This instalment has a lot of conflict and storylines come to a breaking point. The characters are running on full cylinders. The action and tension is intense. Frankly, if you’ve been enjoying this series you just might find this volume to be the best yet. Please keep in mind that this series can be a bit extreme with violence and has nudity that is intentionally arbitrary. There’s certainly blood and bodily trauma, albeit because of supernatural adversaries but be forewarned content worriers.
Graphic: Body horror, Child death, Confinement, Death, Emotional abuse, Gore, Torture, Violence, Blood, Kidnapping, Grief, Cannibalism, Medical trauma, Murder, Fire/Fire injury, Gaslighting, Toxic friendship, and Injury/Injury detail
The supernatural characters have humanoid forms at times thus triggers like cannibalism. The violence is robust. The injuries are graphic. The action is bombastic, gunshots, blunt weapons, among other things. The explanations for what’s been going on really pull at the heart because of how they impact character relationships. This series is a must read for me nonetheless and I would happily recommend it to others given they know the content.
