Manners and Monsters by Tilly Wallace

2.0

Ok, so I was originally listening to the collection of the first three books, and this is what I wrote at the end of book 1:
The first book was OK. Rather predictable and slow, but in the way I've come to expect of a lot of historical fiction. While I'm not curious about the LI's secret, I am curious about the MC's, and I'll keep listening, if only because I've got nothing better to listen to ATM.
OK writing and characters, if - again - just what I would expect of this genre.
Interesting setting/world.

3/5 stars

Now, multiple days later, I couldn't bring myself to begin book 2, and I've completely lost what little interested I had.
I'll keep a 2/5 star rating, for the book was OK, it just wasn't anything more. At least not for me. And I won't continue on with the series either.
