This is my personal favorite of the series. The way that it takes what is safe, and turns that on it's head is nothing short than fantastic. This book is when Seth really starts taking the limelight, and being the best PoV to read from.

The only downside to this book is that Kendra does her own side quest, and it is significantly less interesting that what's happening at Fablehaven.
The last half of the book is an absolute delight to read, and very hard to put down, as new characters are introduced. The stakes, while being high in the other books, have never been so personal.
