Notes on a Nervous Planet by Matt Haig
4.0
Notes in a Nervous Planet is my 8th book I've read by Matt Haig and once again he delivers with his non-fiction self-help work. I've previously read The Comfort Book and Reasons to Stay Alive and this book fits right in with those 2. As his work always is, it is incredibly well researched and put together with cohesion. It had a good pacing which kept the book enjoyable and easy to get through.
The one thing to note about this book however is the main topic of conversation is anxiety and at times I did feel like it intensifies feelings of anxiety as it just gets you thinking about so many topics and issues. I think this was also due to listening to the audiobook and perhaps the increased speed I read with probably heightened the anxiety for me. This was the first time listening to an audiobook by Matt Haig too and I definitely enjoyed the experience overall, he is a great narrator as well as author.
I look forward to reading more of Matt Haig's revolutionary work, both in fiction and non-fiction.
⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4/5
