I predicted who the killer was very early in the book, but there were a few times I questioned myself. I think it would have been a more interesting book if Vera really WAS the killer, like Stu thought. Making George, a rejected lover, the killer seems a little too easy. . However, I still enjoyed the journey. I liked the two timeline approach. At the same time, Adult Regina was not very likable, so I didn't care all that much about what happened to her. I felt like she didn't emotionally mature since she was 13- but I guess trauma will do that.
Overall- Not my favorite thriller, but still a fun, easy read. I will definitely check out other books by this author!
