The Long Way to a Small, Angry Planet by Becky Chambers
5.0
This book was phenomenal. The world-building and the details about the other alien species were so in-depth and well done. When I started this book I didn't think I would like it this much. I usually only like very plot driven stories rather than character-driven stories. The plot of this book wasn't really all that important and in this instance, I really enjoyed it, which came as a surprise to me. Another reason I did not know how well I would like this book is that I'm very particular with my sci-fi. Most of the time I only like books about space and spaceships if they don't feature aliens. I just like humans exploring the galaxy it seems, however, this book was a hit. I'm so looking forward to reading the other books written in this universe!
