For a brief moment before I started reading this book, I was worried that it was going to have different characters because it said “An Amateurs Story” on the title page. Then I was super glad when I started reading and that wasn’t the case. This story involves the same 6 characters from the first book, but they’re investigating a new case. A young woman has gone missing from the Jersey Shore, and she looks just like Aerin’s older sister (the victim from the first book).

It took me a little while to get into this book because I had to put it down for a couple of weeks due to other priorities, but once I picked it back up again, I really enjoyed it. The case was another interesting one, and I loved getting to know the characters a little more.
