I was super hesitant to start this trilogy, but wow I’m glad I did! I devoured this book in one sitting. Part mystery, part gothic romance. This gives Bridgerton vibes but with Death and mystery. This would have been an instant 5⭐️ however I felt the romance was a bit forced. I could have used a bit more build up, but as a YA I think it did a great job encompassing it.
