This book was fantastic, and I expect nothing less from Pam Jenoff. Like always, she manages to introduce a hidden part of history, and she does it so well. I had no clue about the furniture store in Paris, so this was quite interesting to read about. I liked the alternating timelines and how Helaine and Louise's stories intertwined. The Paris setting was exciting. I couldn't put it down. The mystery was well done, and I didn't see the twist coming. Pam is one of my favorite historical fiction writers, and this one was definitely another winner!
