Good Omens: The Nice and Accurate Prophecies of Agnes Nutter, Witch by Neil Gaiman, Terry Pratchett
4.0
They made the right choice turning this into a series, because it's written perfectly for that. So many opportunities to create storylines around this book and from what I've seen it's been casted well.
I wish this book was made into a trilogy or something more than one book at least. Mainly because there were so many switches between the characters it was often hard to really get into the characters and storylines. Also because I'd love to know more about the witches and many other characters.
There's many references in the story which I enjoyed, but sometimes they also went over my head. At times it felt like they interfered too much with the story to understand what was actually happening.
Characters. Amazing. I was intrigued by all of them. The use of characters and stories from the bible and giving a modern twist to them was done great and there's a good dose of humour. Little details added to characters to show their character, for example with the Four Horsemen. It created a story that, even though I want to know everything about the characters, was understandable and created a clear view of the many different characters.
Now I'll be watching the show soon.
