A young, devout Jewish boy and his family get taken in by the Nazis and have to suffer through traveling in cattle cars and living through Auschwitz, Buna, Buchenwald, and the awful truths of concentration camps.
This book is a new look on the Holocaust -- an extremely personal look. You may think you have read all about it or know all about it, but this will give you a new perspective. It is short and not-so-sweet, and a breathtaking view on a well-known horror event in history.
It is a short weekend's read, and is much worth your time.
