Knot Really Engaged by Kendall Hale

5.0

Knot Really Engaged is book two in the Happily Ever Mishaps Series.

I loved Liam. He was such a nice guy who was just trying to do something nice for his grandmother. Was the idea the best thing he could've done? No, but he had the best intentions with it. We get to see a cinnamon roll character who is trying to do the best he can for those he cares about. You could see from the get go that he was in love with Audrey, but he was in denial about his feelings as it was his best friend's sister. I understood where he was coming from and I was glad he was able to be honest with himself and those around him.

Audrey's family was too much. Her mom and extended family was a lot. They really were opinionated and that caused a lot of problems for Audrey. They kept setting such high expectations and expected her to be like her cousin. It was quite annoying. I would've snapped on them very early in the book, but that goes to show was a great person Audrey was. She really did try to please her family, a bit too much in my opinion. I was glad she had Liam to help her navigate this visit with her family and stand with her against their bullying.

This was a really great read and I can't wait to see what is next in store.
