Fullmetal Alchemist, Vol. 15 by Hiromu Arakawa

5.0

The truest 5-stars rating from the series so far - the origin story of Scar and the story of the Ishbalan war is indeed a very well written and compelling story.

Second reading: still the bestest of the 5-star ratings thus far. But while the origin story of Scar was what fascinated me at first, it's Roy Mustang's position that was clearer this time. Quite interesting and compelling; and if it wasn't Shonen perhaps we would've seen a more mature bond between Hawkeye and Mustang developing. Like that, we're caught in a somewhat superficial stage with their relationship. It works, but it's hard not to see some sort of tension between these two characters. Anyway, Hawkeye now becomes my favorite secondary character (I know, in the future there will be an Armstrong I might like more).
