We are happy when people/things conform and unhappy when they don't. People and events don't disappoint us, our models of reality do. It is my model of reality that determines my happiness or disappointments.
i know nearly 0 about chess, thankfully the actual game itself is only a small part of this short book. that being said, the overall idea of the story is hopeful but also seems silly? maybe i'm too much of a skeptic
