Murder on Brittany Shores by Jean-Luc Bannalec
I like the story fine. And the characters, though I think the author spent more time (or at least to better effect) developing them in the first Dupin book - go figure?
But OM*G* the typos! Most seem to have come during translation/editing (e.g., many times there seemed to have been a last-minute change to past perfect and the space between the words somehow got left out), but it sure feels as if one more proofreading (or even just a last spelling check? though there also were some dropped words and other minor garbled grammar moments) would have made a huge difference.
