Blair is a young witch living in Hallowsdeep who finds out her mortal boyfriend, Ryan, cheated on her. She can’t retaliate magically or she could get in a lot of trouble by the witch council, so she has to figure out the best *mortal* way for her to get revenge. That need for revenge leads to Blair bewitching Ryan’s dad, Dex, who happens to be in town. From the moment Blair and Dex meet, there seems to be a spark there, a chemistry, that neither of them can explain. Why is Dex in town? Why do they have such a connection? And can she simply have Dex as a revenge ploy and nothing more? 

I loved this book. It was kinky, funny, and I found the plot incredibly interesting and unlike other stories I’ve read before. I thought this was going to simply be a “cheat on me, I’ll f**k your dad” story, but the actual plot of the story was so much more than that. I’m assuming this is the start of a series based on some comments made towards the end of the book by a secondary character? I hope we get more of this world, I really enjoyed it. 

To me, this was a prime example of how a book can have a killer plot while also being very spicy and kinky. Note: this is heavy on “daddy” kink, so if that’s not your thing then this book may not be for you.
