This is an odd, meandering patchwork of stories past and future, looking at the origins of artificial intelligence and how we remember the voices of the past. Lots of interesting ethical conundrums and speculation about how things could go very wrong. I note this book was published in 2015, reading it now in mid 2023, it is somewhat more frightening than it would have been, only a year ago. How about we all agree that babybots are a BAD idea, ok?
