Okay so, this won't be easy to put together.
Part 1 = confusion (190 pages)
Part 2 = what the hell is happening?!
Part 3 = the main character changed into a completely different person :(((
To sum it up... I'm still confused. The first part was super slow, even boring I'd say. The only thing that was happening there was: "Andrew is so HANDSOME" and "Nina is so CRAZY" It was mentioned again and again and again and again that it started making me annoyed.
The second part was something I wasn't expecting. Not in a good way. I feel like the plot twist came out of nowhere. Like it was a totally different story. Somehow Nina started to be the good guy and Andy was the villain. And it's a good plot twist, don't get me wrong, but I feel like it should be shown in some way a bit sooner.
The third part was from some other dimension. Every character was someone completely different... Nina, Cece (why was she acting like that the whole book and in the third part was suddenly an angel when she didn't know anything about what was happening in the house?), Millie started to be really twisted (I get that she wanted to punish Andy, and for him to eventually die, but this was a bit too much of a change for her character... like why did she make him pull out his teeth?!). The only character change I get is Andrew, he hid it well, and he was still the same calm, reserved guy.
But the plot twist about his mother is something I did not see coming, even tho I knew he wanted to always impress her. But the thing she said to Nina? The "I'm glad you punished him because he didn't learn". That was... I dunno. Unexpecting.
