Married to the Vampire King by Jay Castle
4.0
4/5. Highlights may contain spoilers. Read at your own risk.
Content Warnings for book: Alcohol, houselessness, violence, off-page death of loved ones, references to transphobia
Kink: N/A
These two were very sweet and good. Despite being fated mates, this book isn’t “I love yous” from the second page. They take some time to work up to it and there is emphasis on consent in all things. Ethan and Nathaniel I loved both, and I appreciated the different struggles they went through. The mystery plot had me on edge too!
While I think the end bit with the villain was a tad rushed, I do understand why it played out the way it did. I really love how the blood bond is described and that “dark place”.
If you enjoy some sweet romance along with paranormal plot excitement, this is a good read!
