As a person who had been a shut-in for many years, this was very relatable at times! And there's no ghosts, skeletons or magic in this book, yet it's very haunting and eerie. I really loved the cottagecore vibe, it was mixed great with the grim atmosphere. And I think the sisters were lovely and unique.
