After Dead: What Came Next in the World of Sookie Stackhouse by Charlaine Harris
3.0
After Dead is for the diehard Sookie fan. This short anthology is a listing of all characters from the series (and I do mean ALL) in alphabetical order and reads like a Where Are They Now article. Many of the characters I had to look back to see who they were so I could appreciate their ending. Most only got one or two sentences or a paragraph. Then your main characters (Sookie, Bill, and Eric) had one to two pages about their happily ever afters.
If you are a true fan, I think you'll enjoy it. Harris does a nice job of wrapping up the lives of her characters and gives us some closure on things that were unclear in Dead Ever After. Don't expect a lot from this anthology. I read it from cover to cover in 30 minutes. And it's pricey! $10 for a thirty minute read is a lot in my opinion. I only recommend this book to those fans that want to know about the characters and if you are lucky enough to have a friend that's already bought it........borrow!
