I would have enjoyed this better if I was a little bit older.
Resume w/o spoilers:
The Circe legends as never told before. Circe is the daughter of goddess of witchcraft Hecate and god of the Sun Helios, as we all know she’s sent to Eea to be punished, the island where she converts men to pigs. The history has more to it, in this twist we get to feel sympathy for her and reassure our hate for the Greek gods.
Key words:
Greek Mythology. Fiction. Womanhood.
Character development:
However I did like this character development. ✨
Romance:
As you know, romance in Greek mythology is a chaos so expect that here as well.
Plot:
Predictable but with a twist.
Note: I would loved this more if I was a little bit older, this book touches some womanhood and motherhood issues that I haven’t gone through yet, probably this is a book my mom would love. I know it wasn’t the author’s fault but I wasn’t expecting this to talk so deeply about those issues tho, probably I would like to re read this in 10-15 years.
3.5 out of 5 stars
