You know that saying, “it’s always the quiet one’s you gotta watch out?” Well… John Tucker is definitely the kind of man to be on the look out for. Tucker may seem like the “silent, quiet” type, but oh boy when he busts out his charm, he REALLY WORKS IT!

I loved this story! At first, Garrett Graham was my initial favorite and then with each book I was struggling to decide which one I loved, but damn… John Tucker is definitely the man for me. Tucker’s gentlemen ways, southern drawl, sexy as hell words, and (sigh) that man is the epitome of a dream boat.

Tucker has always been a character that I haven’t read much about in the Off-Campus series, he’s usually in the background or rarely appears except for some scenes. That being said, while Tucker isn’t mentioned as much as the other guys, Tucker is an observant person.
Right away, in the beginning of “The Goal”, in Tucker’s P.O.V. he mentions that he was able to deduce what was going on with Dean and Allie in “The Score”. I loved reading this little tidbit about Tucker because, it goes to show that while he isn’t as loud, he’s more of the quiet/chill guy, he is just an impressive, especially with his ability to pick up on the smallest details.

When it comes to Sabrina, Tucker is able to tell how she’s feeling based on the interactions they’ve had. From the way Sabrina will tense up or change her posture, Tucker is able to deduce what she’s feeling in the moment.

I think out of all the Off-Campus girls, Sabrina had the best character development in terms of her learning to open up, be vulnerable, and accept that she is worthy of love (Tucker’s love). Sabrina struggled a lot with working two jobs, trying to maintain good grades, a social live, and more. A part of me wished that Sabrina would have told Tucker how she felt a bit earlier, but I understand where she was coming from, her fears were valid. That being said, the end of “The Goal” made me so happy and I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THE EPILOGUE!

Another thing I loved about Tucker was the way he spoke to Sabrina. Specifically the way Tucker doesn’t hold back in telling Sabrina how he feels about her (if you know, YOU KNOW!) Tucker would literally tell Sabrina how he felt being with her, and my initial response was, “……THIS MAN IS ROMANTIC, SWEET, AND ALL AROUND MASTER OF DIRTY TALK”.
I think we can all agree that Tucker is the master of dirty talk because, the things he said to Sabrina had me reaching for the control of my air conditioner to cool me off!!!
