It took me a little bit longer than I would’ve liked to get into this book, but once I was in, I was sold. I read the last 3/4’s of it all in one go! I love when that happens. I do have to say I kind of disagree that this book is a ‘thriller’. I’m not exactly sure which category I’d put it in besides ‘fiction’ but it did have its surprising moments.
It’s a really interesting take on certain issues like: microaggressions & mental health/illness. I don’t feel it glorified any of the above, in fact, I found most of it to be thought-provoking and it opened up conversations among myself and others.
