I listened to this on Audible so I could hear Chanel herself narrate which felt very powerful. The total injustice of the justice system as it relates to women left me frothing with rage , listening to her speak, even though I know about it from my day job too. The system and its gendered , class based assumptions fail everyone involved and Chanel’s bravery in telling this story is truly inspiring.
