The moment I started the first book in this series, I knew it would become an all-time favorite. Every single one of these books has stolen my heart and this last one is no different. I've never been good with endings, not even a little bit. I've grown to love these characters so much, it hurts to say goodbye. But I have to admit, this was a perfect way to end an amazing series.

I was worried this book, given who it's about, would be more angsty than the others. Because it's about Mack and Davey, who were married until they weren't and this book is them trying to put the pieces back together. But Saxon reassured everyone that it's still a Saxon book so we didn't need to worry. And she was right. Don't get me wrong. There are feels. A lot of them. All the feels. I laughed, I cried, I swooned, I needed a cold shower (or a few). There was no doubt in my mind that these two belonged together and while they needed to go through the painful bits and it hurt me to see them both suffer, it was well worth it in the end.

Of course, I can't talk about a DMC book without mention the rest of the DMC group! God I love these guys. Payne & Beau, Heath & Griff, Ford & Orsen, Art & Joey, Keller & Will. I can't possibly pick a favorite because they're all great and I love how much they care about each other. I will miss this group of guys so much, but all good things must come to an end eventually, right?

I have no doubt I'll revisit this series again and again in the future. If you haven't started it yet and you love low angst romances about guys a little older (but not a lot wiser), found families, and all the feels, then I highly recommend you pick up this series. You won't regret it.
