I really liked this alternate reality. Ellie and her friends and family were really charming.

There are some major loopholes throughout the novel, but overall they don’t affect the story arc.

This is a YA novel, I’d say aimed at pre-teens, but I found it enjoyable, too. I don’t know if I’d seek out more adventures with these characters, but learning about the world they lived in and solving the mystery along with Ellie was a fun read.
