most of the action in this book stems from characters jumping to conclusions and acting on them prematurely. i was particularly annoyed with the protagonist doing this because she was cast as this super smart, straight A student, yet she kept putting herself in dangerous situations for absolutely no reason other than to create suspense and intrigue.
