This is my favourite collection I’ve read in a long time. There’s so much to love about it, from the social commentary to the inventive form to the deep, emotional cuts you’re left with after reading it. I would absolutely recommend this book to anyone interested in Indigenous literature, poetry, or just looking for a good book to break your heart and help you put the pieces back together.
